FEE:

• Assembly 12 members who have paid their local dues ($15) for 2022–2023 may participate for FREE!
• There is a $5 fee for any non-Assembly 12 member (buyer or seller).

Speed up check-in on auction night and REGISTER ONLINE

BUYERS:

• Fee allows you to bid on any auction items
• Bring cash or checks

SELLERS:

• Fee allows you to sell any auction items.
• Sellers go in registration order.
• Each seller will have a limited time. Please bundle smaller items and be prepared with a minimum bid for each item (if desired).
• Sellers will pay Assembly 12 a commission of 10% of the selling price.
• All accounts are settled at the END of the auction.
• Sellers will be paid with cash and/or check.

We’re at Eagle Magic this time for our November “hybrid” SAM Assembly 12 meeting. We’ll meet on Friday, November 18, at 7:00 PM. (Eagle Magic is in Burnsville, MN, 4 lights east of 35W on Hwy 13, southeast corner, next door to the BP gas station.) Bring potluck snacks to share.

This month’s theme: A tribute to Max Maven. Share a remembrance, perform one of his many effects, talk about his writing, or some other tribute of your choice.

Time once again for another SAM 12 Hybrid Assembly Meeting, on Friday, October 21st at 7:00 PM.

Our theme this month, by virtue of the season, is Spooky Magic! Show us something scary, Halloween-themed, or just plain weird!

It’s time for our (rescheduled) Magic Picnic!

It will be held on Sunday, September 18th at 11:00 AM at the Laidig home in Hudson, WI. Directions will be sent via email (let me know if you don’t get them).

We will have hot dogs, beans, and potato salad provided by the Laidigs for a Noon Lunch.

Please bring your own beverages and a dessert to pass! 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we need to cancel the meeting originally scheduled for Friday, August 26th.

Time for another “hybrid” SAM Assembly 12 meeting, on Friday, August 26, at 7:00 p.m.

The in-person location will be at Eagle Magic in Burnsville, MN. (It’s 4 lights east of 35W on Hwy 13, southeast corner, next door to the BP gas station.) We strongly recommend you only attend in person if you’re fully vaccinated. Bring potluck snacks to share.

Our theme this month, chosen due to the season, is Magic with School Supplies! Pencils, crayons, construction paper, flashcards, etc. You could even use a slate and show us some Math magic you didn’t have a chance to do at the last meeting!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Magic Picnic originally scheduled for Sunday, July 17th has been canceled. So, we will not meet in July but will instead look to meet in August.

We’re taking a break in June. Stay tuned for details on our picnic to be held on Sunday, July 17th.

Our theme this month, chosen purely at random from my Jar-O-Themes, is Mathemagic! Magic that is based on mathematical principles, including topology and geometry. Could be number tricks, mathematical card tricks, or even knot magic!

As always, be prepared to demonstrate and teach if possible, and provide guidance and suggestions for others.
